Biblical rules of engagement.
Have nothing to do with foolish, ignorant controversies; you
know that they breed quarrels. And the Lord's servant must not be quarrelsome
but kind to everyone, able to teach, patiently enduring evil, correcting his
opponents with gentleness. God may perhaps grant them repentance leading to a
knowledge of the truth, and they may come to their senses and escape from the
snare of the devil, after being captured by him to do his will. - 2 Timothy
2:23-26
But I say to you who hear, Love your enemies, do good to
those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who abuse you. To one who strikes you on the cheek, offer the
other also, and from one who takes away your cloak do not withhold your
tunic[a] either. Give to everyone who begs from you, and from one who takes
away your goods do not demand them back. And as you wish that others would do
to you, do so to them. - Luke 6:27-36
“You have heard that it was said, ‘An eye for an eye and a
tooth for a tooth.’ But I say to you, Do
not resist the one who is evil. But if anyone slaps you on the right cheek,
turn to him the other also. And if anyone would sue you and take your tunic,[a]
let him have your cloak as well. And if
anyone forces you to go one mile, go with him two miles. Give to the one who begs from you, and do not
refuse the one who would borrow from you. “You have heard that it was said,
‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray
for those who persecute you, so that you may be sons of your Father who is in
heaven. For he makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on
the just and on the unjust. For if you
love those who love you, what reward do you have? Do not even the tax
collectors do the same? And if you greet only your brothers,[b] what more are
you doing than others? Do not even the Gentiles do the same? You therefore must
be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect. - Matthew 5:38-48

A very worthwhile lessons Anas. There is such a thing as the Sunday Christian you know. These are a specialies of Christian in the majority who go to Church on a Sunday as they are compelled to do by their religion.
They attend service on Sunday, dress well and say all sorts of nice things by ritually reciting from their good book those things that sound nice.
However once they leave the precincts of their churches, they curse swear, fornicate, drink till it kills them, spite their neighbours, speak evil of those who God's fortune has visited, speak ill of those who worship the same God but from a different mount and then prepare themselves for another Sunday by attending the magical cure all evils of the confessional where they confess their sins for a small penance.
The cycle then goes on and on.
Brunei's Malays observing the so called "Springs" in Malaysia then slowly creeping in Singapore have decided to introduce Syariah law into the legislative books of that state. Why? because people always find comfort in their culture and their God in a back to basics when threatened.
Malaysian Christians and the Chinese ought to calm themselves and realise that the world will only cave in on them if they kick the roof in like they are doing now.
We have never had it so good. All of us.
